More seeds added

I've added more seeds to the inventory list at https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0Bw6AuwBObaucZWFiYTJhMDktMmZiMC00ZDA1LTljYjItNTNmY2JjZmVkYTNl&sort=name&layout=list&num=50.

Check back in a couple of weeks for more additions as I still have lots waiting to be cleaned and cataloged.

I put my seed inventory list on Google docs here:

I have only entered a few things so far for this year but I have lots I have collected over the past couple of months that I am in the process of cleaning, storing, cataloging etc. Check back for updates.

Its a nice day in November

Very warm today and sunny and now its time to get ready for bed. But here are a couple of recent pictures from around College Park...

That's poison ivy, isn't it pretty? This was taken in my yard about a week ago.

Beautiful wildflower meadow next to Camp Creek Parkway. I found this small surprise, its only about a 60-ft x 60-ft area, right next to Camp Creek Parkway very close to the airport. It's growing in a locally wet area, but near the to top a hill, so there must be rock very close the surface there channeling ground water to seep out of the edge of this mild slope. The area where these flowers are growing appears to have been mowed earlier this year as the surrounding vegetation was much higher and did not contain the same flowers. What you see here is Liatris, Goldenrod, and there were also lots of a type of Skullcap here which are very cool looking and a beautiful blue but they are too small to see in this photograph.  I came back a few weeks later and got some of the Skullcap seed and will try to grow them this coming year. Photo taken October 10, 2010.
